Artist

My name is Melissa Ferris and I am the artist behind Tetelestai art. I am a college volleyball coach by day and artist by night.  I have been in college volleyball coaching for over 20 years and never thought I was an artist until God made it clear that this was the path He was calling me to.

 I started painting six years ago when my mom passed. I painted out of a need to express what was on my heart. Two years later my dad passed and I truly was struggling.  Grief was weighing me down heavily. I desperately needed to find a way to communicate what was on my heart that I didn't have the words for. Fast forward to now, God has put it on my heart to share and sell my art to speak of all that He has done in my life. All paintings I paint are to honor both of my parents and God who saved me from the pit of grief. He truly has made Isaiah 61:1-3 (posted on the bottom of the home page) my life verse and is what Tetelestai art is founded on. Each painting is signed on the back with a ❤️ Issy in honor of the name that my mom used to call me.
